Paula, Andrew, Dan, Ian and Mickey the dog request the pleasure of your company at our annual Thanksgiving party, Turkeyfest. It's on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, at 289 Surrey St, San Francisco 94131-2930. The party starts at 2pm, and we will probably eat around 5pm. This is a potluck. We provide the turkey, and you bring the rest of the food and drink. If you are coming, please call menu control (415-333-7576) a week before the event to confirm what you are bringing.

The story of Turkeyfest

A long time ago, in Chicago, some friends of ours used to have a potluck party the weekend before Thanksgiving. The idea was that you had to spend Thanksgiving eating vast amounts of food with your family [yawn] and it was actually a lot more fun to eat vast amounts of food with all your friends. When Paula moved out to join me in California, we decided that we should carry on the Turkeyfest tradition and have been doing so since 1983. This year we will be webcasting live in Real Video for those of you who can't make it in person.
