Details: This Circus Festival is the big circus-skills event of the year - it's the juggling equivalent of the Melbourne Cup. Last year, it was held on Stradbroke Island, the year before in Tasmania. In addition, The Tasmanian Circus Festival is happy to invite you to join the 1998 Pre-Festival Training Project and industry get together (the training project is limited to 40 places, so book early). This is your chance to be part of a unique event.
The Circus Festival is held after the training project on Feb 28, Mar 1 and Mar 2. The festival is open to the public and will feature performances by over 40 contemporary circus artists from around Australia and overseas. There will be continuing circus training workshops, the Horehound Juggling Finals, magnificent music, fine food, forest walks and the best festival environment you could possibly imagine.
