Alan's Home Page

If you are looking for dazzling graphics and meaningful insights into Juggling and Its role in Quantum Theory then you are at the wrong home page. All I can do is tell you a little about myself and hope you don't fall asleep reading this.

This home page is under construction. I hope within a short period of time it will be considerably less lame than it is currently.

[picture of moi] This is a picture (taken a few years ago) of me trying 9 balls. I have done a little retouching on the original (sharpening the image, filling in some of the background that was cropped on the picture, and adding 4 extra balls. I'm kidding). Don't complain about what a bad job I did and the cruddy image quality - you should see the original.

I have actually made > 18 catches of 9 balls a couple of times recently but there were no witnesses. Isn't that always the way it happens? I would like to get many more (and longer) runs of 9 balls, flash 10 a few more times (I've done it once), and juggle 7 clubs someday. I would also like to end hunger in the world, win the lottery, and visit the moon (yes, the thought has crossed my mind that juggling 9 would be easier on the moon).

Click here if you are curious as to how many catches I can make at each number.

Click here for a brief intro to some of the other people you might meet on rec.juggling.

Juggling is like Sex

My life outside of juggling

Virtually non-existant. Despite the fact that I am extremely cute and charming and just excessively wonderful, I have no life. But for those of you who must know, I was born in England in 1969 and am currently still alive. Working in San Mateo, CA for EFI as nerd slave labor (well, my business card says Software Engineer but you can't believe everything you read). I don't have a favorite author because I like reading too much to restrict myself to one name. Ditto on favorite book. Ditto on favorite band. I frequently mosey over to the Juggling Information Service which Barry Bakalor assures me is the greatest thing ever.
