Yep - I'd agree with Brian's advice - I learnt how to do this from "The
Encyclopedia of Ball Juggling" - having failed to work it out from other
books  (like Beyond the Cascade) and getting my brain totally confused
trying to work it out from a video I found of someone doing it.  So go buy
the book - it's got massess of other useful things in it too
