USSR. Original title: Tri tolstyaka. Soviet fantasy film based on the novel by Yury Olesha. Considered the first "revolutionary tale" of the young USSR, it recounts the adventures of Tibule, a tightrope walker, Dr. Gaspard, a master of a thousand trades, and Prospero, a revolutionary, in their fight against the tyranny of the capricious lords of the Palace of the Three Fat Men, and includes a porcelain doll that comes to life and helps a good cause. There are clowns, tightrope walking, and juggling.
