In this parody of costume dramas in general and Kevin Costner's "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" in particular, Mel Brooks takes us to his idea of Sherwood Forest, where Robin Hood actually has an English accent, his men wear sheer little tights, and the jokes are ones you've enjoyed time and again in other Brooks comedies.
