Poppy (1936)

W.C. Fields plays carnival medicine salesman Professor Eustace P. McGargle. His daughter Poppy, played by Rochelle Hudson, falls in love with the mayor's son. Countess Maggie Tubbs DePuizzi is claimant to the Putnam estates, but McGargle and lawyer Whiffen plot to make Poppy claim the fortune, but then Whiffen and the Countess double-cross the professor.

W.C. Fields does several hat manipulations throughout the movie.

At 59:46, Fields performs a 3 minute 30 second routine featuring rolling a hat around him on the floor.
