Juggling in Movies

Goodnight, Ladies and Gentlemen (1976)

[Senta Berger, Adolfo Celi, Vittorio Gassman, Nino Manfredi]

Italy. Original title: Signore e signori, buonanotte. An episodic satire of the social and political status of Italy in the 1970s through the programming of a television channel.

At 0:31:06, the first part of a juggling animation appears, with the second part starting at 0:31:43. These are repeated at 1:14:08 and 1:15:05. These show a cartoon man unzipping his zipper, reaching inside to pull out 2 juggling balls, but they turn into 5 balls when he starts to juggle them, done very quickly in a perfectly circular pattern. He then stops juggling, and the 5 balls have become 2 again, which he puts back inside his zipper.

These 2 parts can be seen combined into a single 17 second animation.

The entire movie may be seen here.
