Tommy Fawkes wants to be a successful comedian but his Las Vegas debut is a failure. He goes back to England, where his comedian father started, and where he spent the summers of his childhood. He starts to search for a partner, a comic relief, with whom he can be famous.
Many variety acts are seen briefly, including juggler Laci Endresz, Jr.
The dazzling clown George Carl appears here as half of a fictional
comedy team, the Parker Brothers, along with British stand-up comic
Freddie Davies. Carl does some hat tricks, and Carl and Davies do some
plate manipulation. In another scene there are three male unicyclists
in tutus, riding in a cascade pattern.
