Betty Boop's Hollywood Mystery (1989)

In Los Angeles, Betty Boop works as a waitress with her friends Koko the Clown and Bimbo, in the kitchen of a diner that is permanently crowded. The greatest attraction for customers is Betty Boop singing while dreaming to be a Hollywood star. When Betty and her friends accidentally break some dishes, they are fired by the owner. However, the private eye Sam Slade hires the team to help him in a surveillance job at a party in the house of the famous star Lola DaVille, whose secretary Miss Green has just hired him for the protection of a valuable necklace. When the jewel is stolen at the party, Betty Boop becomes suspect number one, since the criminal left his gun in her hands during a blackout, and Sam is unable to prove her innocence while wounded in the hospital. Betty Boop is rescued from the police station by Koko and Bimbo, and the trio investigates who could be the thief. Meanwhile, the diner is completely empty, since customers do not have Betty Boop any more.

At 02:24, Koko the Clown showers 4 (or 6) plates. The juggling begins when Bimbo tosses Koko a plate. We then see Koko showering 4 plates, though it is possible that 2 more are higher than we can see. The shower pattern can be seen for just over a second, and ends by Koko sliding the plates down his body and his right leg and directing them over to someone who catches them one at a time stacked in his left hand. We clearly see, and hear, 6 plates caught, though we never saw more than 4 juggled.

At 02:44, Koko juggles plates again for 2 seconds in a failed attempt to keep them from falling and breaking.
