FlatLand '97 Juggling Festival *** RESCHEDULED ***

The Haymarket is a renovated portion of downtown Lincoln that is home to many small shops and galleries along with some fine restaurants and beverage establishments.

The Flatland festival will be held in an air-conditioned performance hall, The Wagon Train Project. The Wagon Train Project produces many musical and theatrical events. The entire festival will be held at this one great location. Plenty of parking and the Ramada Hotel only seven blocks away. Motel info: Ramada Hotel (800) 228-2828 is the perfect location, next door to the Haymarket, about seven blocks from the festival, and has a parking garage. The Ramada is holding a block of rooms for us at $65 per night. Resevations should be made by May 31st, specify Flatland Juggling Festival.

The Public Show: The Show will be held at the Wagon Train Project, Saturday 7:00 pm. A $100 people choice award will awarded. Acts should sign-up with the host.

Parking Free parking is availible at the Wagon Train Project during the festival.

An added attraction this year is several collections of spinning tops that will be on display all three days of the fest.

Getting around: Although a map is on the way, here follows about al you need.

• The heart of Lincoln is numbered and lettered streets in the usual order.
• The capitol building rises above these flatlands at 15th & 'K' St.
• The Ramada's @ 9th & 'P'.
• The festival is at The Wagon Train Project @ 7th & 'J '.
• The Haymarket Square is between 7th - 8th & 'P' - 'Q' streets.

Schedule:

• Friday, June 13
  • 4:00 - 9:00 pm: Open juggling at The Wagon Train Project (7th & 'J') downtown Lincoln.
  • 9:00 - when-ever: Party right there at Wagon Train
• Saturday June 14
  • 9:00 - 7:00pm: Open Juggling (contests and workshops) - to include club passing, tops, most 3-ball tricks and more). A prop raffle will also be held, with prizes supplied by various generous prop makers/suppliers. Including a chance to win 3 Radical Fish Clubs.
  • 7:00 - 8:30: Public Show at the Wagon Train.
  • 8:30 - later: open juggling
  • Later - later still: Renegade Show Geeks, freaks, and off the wall acts are always welcome.
• Sunday June 15
  • 9:00 - till goodbye's: Brunch and Juggle.
