The Chicago Fringe and Buskers Festival is proud to announce our third season. The past two festivals have received outstanding applause from thousands of adults and families, as well as the media and theatre critics. We are still a relatively small festival, compared to the Edinburgh Fringe, but we are growing fast. As you know Chicago has a strong arts community and a world-class reputation for exciting theatre and dance. The Fringe is quickly becoming part of this reputation. We have been a critical success from the beginning and hope to grow quickly over the next few years.

On behalf of the Chicago theatre community and the Fringe staff, we would like to invite you to participate in the Third Annual Chicago Fringe and Buskers Festival. Our dates are May 29 through June 15, 1997. We are finalizing our theatre leases, cranking-up our marketing and negotiating with the city on several outdoor locations for our Buskers Fest.
