The 5th Tasmanian Circus Festival star attraction in 1996 will be Rock 'n' Roll Circus. A myriad of performances by buskers, street artists, acrobats and magicians will be part of the action on the main stage and all around the parkland festival site.

There will also be circus skills workshops in a whole arange of activities including juggling, tight rope, childrens circus etc. The circus trio Scam will be there to conduct workshops and show their skills in daily performances.

There will be idyllic camp sites for your tent, log fires, fine food, forest walks and a wonderful gathering of circus artists and street performers from around Australia.

How to get there:

Fly to Launceston or travel from Melbourne on the Spirit of Tasmania. Lone Star is 50 Kms east of Launceston. Let us know when you are arriving and we will endeavour to organise transport to the festival site.

Rock 'n' Roll Circus will be coming to Tasmania a week early to conduct workshops. This popular pre-festival gathering will be restricted to 30 people, so please book early. It's an ideal time to work on skills, share with others and soak up the atmosphere of the remote Tasmanian wilderness.

Cost; $120 (includes camping etc, plus transport from Launceston when possible).

Booking: Send a $60 cheque or money order together with your name and address to Tasmanian Circus Festival, 6 El Paso St, Bardon, Qld, 4065, Australia. The remaining $60 will be payable on your arrival at the festival site. Book early.
