Details

Following the example of several European countries, and it's involvement over 10 years in the field, Chapitô began to organise juggling festivals in Portugal. The first took place at Chapitô in the Costa do Castelo, the second and third at Castelo de S. Jorge. This year, 1995, it will be sited in Oeiras. We want to put down roots, and we have been welcomed to do this by the city of Oeiras. We need you to participate, so together, next year we can host in Portugal, the 19th European Juggling Convention. This year's will be in Sweden and there will be almost 3,000 artists attending.

Travel: Fly: Direct to Lisbon; From the Airport: Take the airport bus to Praça do Comércio change to the No. 83 towards Cais do Sodré. From here take the train to Oeiras; Rail: International to Lisbon (Sta Apolónia); From the Train Station: Take the bus to Cais do Sodré. From here take another train to Oeiras; Trains every 5 min's to 2:30 am. A 20 min's journey.
The site is 20 min's by car from Lisbon.
