Details: This is a remarkable festival which has been going on since 1987 and is very successful. Groups such as the Waldo Woodhead Show, Butterfly, and lots of top ranked street performers take part. (I am not sure who is in this years lineup). The festival is under new management this year (there were problems in past years with the original management). If you are in the northeast in early August, try to catch this one. Halifax is a naturally airconditioned city on the ocean, clean and friendly and the US dollar goes a long way in Canada right now.
