The 19th Annual Isla Vista Juggler's Festival

Sponsored by the UCSB Juggling Club, as a benefit for the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center.

in memory of Patty Laney

When
March 31-April 2, 1995 - See schedule below.

Where
Isla Vista, California

Isla Vista is just west of U.S. 101, about 10 miles north of Santa Barbara, and is the home of the Univ. of Cal. at Santa Barbara. Anisq' Oyo park is near the center of town, surrounded by Embarcadero Del Mar and Embarcadero Del Norte. You can't miss it, trust me. The theater is adjacent to the park, as are many restaurants and groceries. A 5 or ten minute walk from the park will take you to the shores of the Pacific Ocean.

Cost
Free.

General Information

This is the oldest continuously running juggling festival in the known universe. It's huge, it's wonderful, it's fun. If you've never been there before, don't miss this year's! Highlights will include a killer live juggling show, with many of the best professional juggling acts in the entire metropolitan Isla Vista area!

Those wishing to stay in hotels should look in Goleta, which is much closer than Santa Barbara - there are no motels in Isla Vista itself. If you have a car, Goleta is quite close. Check out the Goleta Valley Inn, Motel 6, Pilot House and others.

Those on a tighter budget need only bring a sleeping bag. Space is kindly provided by the United Methodist Church, 892 Camino Del Sur, at the corner of Sueno Road. Go to the wooden frame house behind the church for safe nights dreaming of juggling.

Here is a small map of the town of Isla Vista, with Anisq' Oyo Park, the Isla Vista Theater, the United Methodist Church, and every street in town clearly labeled. For a larger, higher resolution image, suitable for printing (ideally in landscape mode), just touch the map.
