In past years, the festival has averaged an attendance of about one hundred twenty participants from throughout the region, including jugglers from as far away as Iowa City, Chicago and Winnipeg, Canada. This year we expect some increase in attendance, since the convention will be FREE!

Schedule:

Saturday, Feb 11th: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

The convention will feature workshops, games, unicycling, combat, and lots of open juggling in the gyms at Cooke Hall on the Minneapolis campus. (Just west of the intersections with Oak St, between University Ave. and Washington Ave.) Raffle at 5:30 p.m., T-shirts and props for sale throughout the day.

Sunday, Feb 12th: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The event moves to the U. of MN. St. Paul Campus and starts early, with either a catered brunch buffet at the St. Paul Student Center or open juggling at the St. Paul Gym from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. At noon, seating begins for the MONDO Spectacular, a two hour variety show featuring a number of jugglers and other theater artists from throughout the region.

The convention winds down with a video party and socializing in the Minnesota Commons room in the Student Center from 3:00 - 5:00.

Regarding Vendors:

We have had some inquiries from vendors who'd like to sell props and other things to our convention guests, and we will welcome any serious enquiries. Due to the nature of Sunday's activities, we feel it is most likely that Cooke Hall is where vendors will want to display their wares for sale. We are asking a straight fee of $25.00 per table for a standard 6' folding table and two chairs.

In fairness, vendors should be aware that the U. of M. Juggling Club *has* recently purchased some props at discount rates ('cause we buy in BULK) and will have *some* items for sale. Specifically, its a couple of diabolos & a couple of devil sticks from Renegade, 1-3 sets of Dube European clubs, some Jenack Circus shaker cups, and some Ben Decker cigar boxes. All are going for about 10% less than catalog prices.

Raffle Donations sought:

There will be a raffle for props held at around 5:30 p.m., and we are seeking donations of props, toys, T-shirts, yo-yo's and other juggling paraphernalia. Anyone who donates to the raffle gets publicity on the Raffle Prizes poster plus mention in periodic announcements througout the day. In addition, all supporters of this year's event will bethanked publicly at the MONDO Spectacular show and listed in the program, which is distributed free to the roughly 300 audience members.
