Details
There will be 24-hour juggling in the 9,600-square-foot Nachez complex at the hotel. A cocktail party is planned for mid-week, and we'll make nightly excursions to hotels on the Strip to see the stars perform. Check the sign up sheets each day to see where everyone is going. Jugglers appearing in Las Vegas include Wally Eastwood, Dick Franco, Nino Frediani, Anthony Gato, Michael Godeau and Rejean St. Jule (show tickets are $20-$30). In addition, the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil is performing at Treasure Island (tix are $52.80), and a thrilling lineup of internationally celebrated circus acts is presented free of charge from 11am to midnight under the pink and white big top at Circus Circus.

See Jim the Juggler's post to rec.juggling: Jim's Guide to Las Vegas (the best and worst of the City of Sin). This includes info on Gambling, Eating, Stuff to do, and shows.

Also, you may find some useful info at Virtual Las Vegas.

.... many outdoor attractions, graveyard shift bowling for $1 per game at the Showboat (see Daryl Toomey or Elliot Goldstein IJA bowling champs), rock climbing, tours to Hoover dam, bungie jumping (see Daryl Toomey IJA bungy expert), UFO watching, etc......

There is usually a large turnout of top name jugglers as a number of the best pros who work in Vegas turnout plus, because of the time of year, we have a much higher percentage of pros than at the summer fest pus lots of room for jugglers of all types and ages. Food is cheap in the casinos as is drinking (if you are gambling, drinks are the cost of a tip, see Paul Kyprie, nickel machine drink master for guidance).

The IJA is planning a Friday, January 6, bus trip to the Colorado River boomtown of Laughlin, Nevada. A mere $5 per person fee includes round-trip tranportation, casino fun book and lunch.

Travel Information: By making your travel arrangements through Eager Travel, the IJA will directly benefit and you will be assured of the lowest available airfare regardless of the airline used. Call 800/848-4648. Hotel reservations due by December 1.
