San Joaquin County Department of Parks and Recreation and Juggling Capitol.
Open Juggling and Free Camping: Delta picnic area, all weekend.
Food
- Food service is limited. There is a kitchen and BBQ facilities by
the Delta picnic area. Bring your own pots and pans. We will provide a
BBQ dinner Saturday night ($5 contribution requested, other help welcome).
Bring food to share for a potluck brunch on Sunday (preparation starts
at 10am, food at 11ish).
Shelter
- If you do not want to camp, there are motels available in Lodi, 15 minutes
drive away. Try the Royal Host Inn, 710 S. Cherokee, Lodi, (800) 528 1234.
Public Show
- 'The Vaudeville Variety Show' is being directed by Barry Bakalor.
Please contact him if you wish to appear. It will be in the Memorial
building on Saturday night at 7pm. Tickets $8, Students $4. Proceeds
go to Oxfam America (third world agricultural programs), San Joaquin
County Women's Center, and San Joaquin County Department of Parks and
Recreation to help finance future festivals.
Street Performing
- There is an area for street performing in the Zoo on Saturday and
Sunday afternoon. Please let us know when you arrive at the festival if
you wish to perform. Hats are between $5 and $50. If you have never
performed before this is a great place to try...
Vendors
- Vendors are welcome. Tables are available. Juggling Capitol will be
there with a range of props, books, videos...
Late Arrivals
- If the main entrance is closed, use the South entrance by the Delta
picnic area.
Travelling Expenses
- There is a $20 award for the party that travels furthest just to
come to the festival!
