And what a nice bunch of guys they were.......very friendly bunch.
Alton Towers allowed us in for free for 2 days.....which meant that or the first three hours on saturday...all jugglers could be found on the rides and not the lawn juggling....however after everyone had recovered from this..some interesting juggling occured....kevin ( one of the guys at the Alton Towers was giving a 2 diablo workshop... then he saw Gerry doing his two diablos......
Lots of fun in the games...would have been better if someone had hung the compere who was in serious needd of a bullet in the head or some originality. The three legged club race was interesting, with interesting ways of getting ahead...read tomahawk the people next to you so that theyre pattern goes everywhere and they have to spend 5 minutes picking te clubs back up..
The show put on by the performers there was excellent...adrian escaping from a straightjacket on top of a unicycle..and a nice 5 ball bouncing routine. The one ball mime and magician act were also quite good...as was the white ball of death....why cant people choose another colour besides white for an instrument of destruction?
Sunday was basically a repeat of Saturday with a few different workshops.. but it will all be happening again next year.....the only bad point was the fact that the campsite recommended had silly rules...like no noise after 11pm....no alcohol to be consumed outside a tent....if you were deemed to be under the influence of alcohol you were not allowed in and only children allowed on the adventure playground... apart from that and muddy cold showers...the campsite was okay.....
All in all though an excellent weekend.....special mention to Absolute Balls...<aka Obsolete Balls aka Absolute Circus Products> for taking most of saturday to set their stand up...... :)
