Winchester Hat Fair:Friday Schedule
- On Walkabout: Patti Bee & Ross Foley, Des Kay, Sylvesta, Street Credibility, Expanding Suitaces, Eezy Trapezy, Xtended Play & many more
- Workshops: Run by Turnaround Arts, Circus Pipsqueak, and High Voltage Trapeze (11.30 - 12.30 only).
- 10.00am: The Procession. Starts at King Alfreds Statue (thanks to all the Schools who take part with such enthusiasm each year). This is followed by Schools Day on the Cathedral Green. There will be a performance of Richard III and a huge range of workshops (everything from Tai Chi to Trapeze) and sideshows.
- 10.30am: Cathedral: Palfi.
- 11.00am: Buttercross: George Egg, Pentice: Eezy Trapezy, Cathedral: Tin Drum, Lloyds: Spoof & Hoodwink.
- 11.30am: Buttercross: Avanti Display, Pentice: Stickleback, Cathedral: First Draft, Lloyds: Street Credibility, The Square: The Captains.
- 12.00, miday: Buttercross: Angela De Castiro, Pentice: Ark & Mule, Cathedral: Far & Wide, Lloyds: Zuriya, The Square: Youth Circus.
- 12.30pm: Buttercross: Haggis, Pentice: Sylvesta, Cathedral: Circus Fudge, Lloyds: Juggling Fiends, The Square: Pip.

- 8.30pm - 12.00 midnight: Friday Night Live, the fun-packed Cabaret event in the Guildhall. A rip roaring cabaret with a unique blend of madness, stand-up, improvisation, poetry, comedy, variety and vaudeville. Including John Lee, Avanti Display, Tommy the Terrific, Jonathan Kay, Ark & Mule, Eezy Trapezy, Stompy, Mervin Stutter, and lots more fun! Music from Knock on Effect.
- Also (I'm not sure if this is part of the Fair), at The Tower, The Groundhogs are back by popular demand! The return of the legendary Blues Band led by guitar king Tony McPhee. Starts at 8.00pm. Tickets £7, Cons £6, Members £3.50.
