With fun filled entertainment and activities for the whole family i.e. juggling, juggling, and more (you guessed it) juggling! A whole weekend packed full of juggling -- a most pleasurable hobby. Anybody any age is welcome to come. Bring lots of juggling stuff to juggle -- or monies to purchase those well wanted (needed) props from all of those wonderful capitalistic vendors that will also be attending. When: February 5th, 6th, and 7th -- Friday, Saturday, and SUNDAY!!!! Times: Friday 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm Saturday 10:00 am - 10:00 pm Sunday 12:00 am - 5:00 pm Where: Atlanta, Georgia (USA) Grady High School gym -- the famous sight of many past Groundhog's festivals. Most recently the 1991 festival. Directions will be made available as soon as they become available to me! i.e. I really don't know how to get there myself -- yet! ****** note ******* For those of you attending previous festivals at Grady, THE LIGHTING HAS BEEN IMPROVED. Events: Saturday 2:00 pm -- Competition -- yes I said _COMPETITION_. Sorry, we haven't matured to the Kappel system yet. Come and watch the most competitive competition in the Southeastern United States (in my, of course, unbiased opinion). Watch the competetors compete for the coveted PHIL award. Previous winners include Anthony Gatto (need I say more -- what the heck), Ed Jackman, Benji Hill, Cindy Marvel, Jeff Mason, Chuck Gunter, Pat Mcguire, ... and many many more. Saturday -- late at night, say 12:00 midnight or so -- Come and join in all of the fun at the MIDNIGHT CABERET. Details on location will come soon. You'll find a list at the registration table. TRANSPORTATION MARTA is still the cheapest and most colorful way to get around town. For a whapping $1.25 you can catch a train from the airport. Don't forget to get a bus transfer. Take the train to the North Avenue Station and catch bus #27 down Monroe Ave. or #45 down 8th Street. Both will get you to Grady High School. For more information on getting around call 404-848-4711 until 10pm Friday or 4pm Saturday and Sunday for MARTA information. You can not hail a CAB in this town, you must call for a pickup. RAPID TAXI at 691-6666 runs 24 hours a day and costs about $4.00 per person to get around downtown. Turn left (go east -- away from GA tech). See directions from 10th street below. Coming from the South: (for you Floridians) On I 75/85 take exit 101 (10th street exit). Turn right (east). See directions from 10th street below. Coming from the East or West: (For those who live in CA or in the Atlantic) On I 20 take the I 75/85 north exit. See coming from the South. Directions from 10th street. In about a mile you'll see Piedmont Pard on your left and on the furthest corner sits Grady High. Look for the big High School Football Stadium. Park in the lot between the stadium and the gym. If the road dead ends you've gone just a little to far. BACKUP!
