Fallfest 1992 Free, juggle free!!! When: Labor Day Weekend Saturday, September 5th, 8 am to 8 pm (followed by a party at a location to be announced) Sunday, September 6th, 9 am to 5 pm Where: The Purdue Armory Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana Registration Fee: $0.00 The Purdue University Juggling Club invites you to attend their 5th annual Fall Jugglefest . The Price The Purdue Jugglers recognize that juggling is a naturally free, universally untaxed activity. We like our fest to reflect this vision -- so registration is free. In holding this fest we, the Purdue Jugglers, are inviting you as guests into our "home". You don't charge your guests an admission fee to get into your home, do you? We usually don't either. Of course, you probably don't beg for donations or try to sell raffle tickets to your guests, and we will. But this "home" thing is just an analogy -- you can't expect it to be accurate in every respect... The Facility Once again the Fallfest will be held in Purdue University's enormous Armory. Don't worry about us running out of space. That won't happen. This mighty, vaulted structure makes the Halls of Asgard look like your kitchen. This is a big, big room -- big enough to drive a school bus filled with unicycles into. But don't take our word for it -- come to the fest and watch Tom Miller of the Unicycle Factory do just that. About the Purdue Armory, Michael Ferguson, of Fergie Bag fame, once said, "What more can you ask for in a juggling facility? You can't hit the ceiling if you try...(and) of course, military pictures on the wall *always* get me in a juggling mood." So bring your unicycle, juggle whatever you like, wear any type of shoes (no matter how black) -- the Armory can take it! The Combat Banned from many jugglefests, loathed by some, its advocates shunned in polite society, combat constitutes an indispensable (if perhaps evil) part of every Purdue Fallfest. Yes, we not only tolerate this noble game, but foster and promote it. But we're not barbarians, not really. Well, we do have some barbaric characteristics... Okay, we're barbarians. Nevertheless, please bring your softclubs. No hardclub combat will be allowed. The Special Guests Prop vendors, Michael Ferguson (Fergie Bags) and Tom Miller (The Unicycle Factory), will again attend, as will the inventor of Multi-hand Notation (MHN) and writer of computer juggling pattern display program, JUGGLEPRO, Ed Carstens. And, we hope, you. The Available Lodgings Hotels and motels in the area. The numbers in parentheses are the approximate miles from campus.
